Never a bad day for a good cut

  hello. I had to write this. I go to James every week for almost 3 years. I am happy to cut my hair every time. James and his team are fantastic. really going in there feels at home. I heartily recommend it to everyone. I greet the guys 👍💪👏

  Our two boys got a very smart haircut at James' Barber Shop. We were greeted with a welcoming smile and a very positive atmosphere. Our boys played happily with the toys and were taken quickly even though we had no appointment. We were lucky because this is a very popular place for kids and adult haircuts. Our youngest sat in the kids car and was content watchimg cartoons on James' tablet. Our eldest sat in the 'big' chair on a booster and still got to watch the tablet so he was delighted. The haircuts are very dapper and they both look very smart. They really enjoyed their visit to James Barber Shop in Killorglin...especially leaving with a new haircut AND a lollipop! Thank you to James and his staff for an enjoyable experience.

  Took my 3 year old to James' today, as he refuses to get his hair cut by anyone. James was an absolute gentleman to deal with and was so calming, reassuring and patient with my little boy who was less than co-operative! James managed to give a great haircut all whilst my little man sat on my lap! Fair play! Thanks to Patrick for making a balloon also and to James for leaving us take one of the toys home. As a mom who was nervous about this experience, i was so happy with the experience! Will definitely be back recommending to friends and family. Thanks so much lads

  James was brilliant with my two year old boy who really enjoyed sitting in the car while his hair was cut. James was also kind enough to fit us in last minute. Overall great experience and would highly recommend!

  Hands down the most unbelievable service! James is an absolute gent and made our little boys hair cut the most amazing experience. From the minute we went in he showed Jack all the toys he had in the shop, James then went above and beyond asking what Jack likes to watch and got his favourite show on the tablet and next was into the big red car. Jack was so excited and loved every minute. The haircut was exactly what I asked for and James definitely has a way with young kids. Everyone in there was so friendly and professional. Thanks everyone we will be back and I would highly recommend anyone to go for their kids haircuts.

  My son's 1st haircut was such an enjoyable experience! He was in a little car, playing with toys while James did his thing. A lock of hair in an envelope & a family photo at the end really made the experience perfect⭐

  Took my little one to James's Barbershop and couldn't be happier with the experience. They had a floating red car chair that my boy absolutely loved — he was happily “driving” while watching his favourite show on an iPad, which made the whole haircut process a breeze. While we waited, there were plenty of toys to keep him entertained. Every single member of staff was exceptionally polite, friendly, and so good with kids. Honestly one of the best haircut experiences we've had. Highly recommended for parents with toddlers, or anybody else for that matter!

  James and Patrick were fantastic on Thursday. Squeezed us in despite being fully booked all week and did an amazing job on our 2 year old who hates having his haircut and made it pretty difficult for the guys. Looked amazing when they finished and it was super quick too. Will definitely recommend and use again. Double thumbs up!

  Went there as my two and a half year old needed a cut and he HATES haircuts. The last time I took him somewhere else, they wouldn’t finish as he was so upset. We explained this when we arrived and the guys said it will be no bother. My boy wasn’t happy but the guys here were so nice and friendly and managed to get it done. We had two guys working on him at one time to speed it up and my little one was left with a very smart cut. We walked down into town and then back up and my boy wanted to go back in and say thank you! Great team of lads. Would definitely go back.
